Tumours Series

BFA Graduating Exhibit 2013

Artist Intent:
“Memories are made up of multiple components – what we visualize, and what we feel. As time goes on elements of a memory become blurred in our minds eye and we retain only what is most important. Memory is a representation of an experience and not the complete reality. Ciele Beau’s painting series ‘Tumours’ attempts to interpret the complexity of memory by dissecting it into two parts – the representational memory and the abstract memory.”
